World Chess Hall of Fame Events
August 18th at 9AM: Toddler Tuesday
"Explore tips and techniques for developing early verbal and pre-literacy skills. Toddler Tuesdays are designed for children ages birth to 3 and their caregivers. Each weekly session includes light refreshments and socializing followed by activities focusing on creative and cognitive development." Click hereto register and learn more!
August 22 at 11AM and 1PM: Family Day
Design wearable art inspired by the the ivory chess pieces in the exhibition and the Marcel Dzama exhibit. We’ll explore design concepts and look at materials in a whole new way. All participants are invited to present their creations in a fashion show at the end of the series. Click here to register!

Schlafly Public Library Events
Tuesday, August 18 at 6 PM
Step for Fitness will meet every Tuesday during the month of July. The class starts at 6 PM and goes until 8 PM, with more advanced moves starting at 7. Don’t miss this interactive, exhilarating Schlafly classic!
Thursday, August 20th from 10 AM to 12 PM
Get Connected will be at Schlafly on Thursday morning from 10 AM to 12 PM. Technology staff members will be on hand to help you figure out how to download material from the St. Louis Public Library website with one-on-one assistance.
