"Foster early understanding of the basic elements of shape and color.

$5 per adult/child pair. Free for WCHOF members. One adult per child required. Limit of 15 adult/child pairs per session. Advance registration is strongly recommended."

 

Family Day: Sculpt N’ Play

Tournament: October 10

Sessions begin at 11am and 1pm and last approximately one hour

"Use Model Magic to create a chess piece inspired by the pieces on view in the gallery. Attend several workshops and you might make a full chess set!  Our goal is to create a chess set and board, and organize a tournament.

2015 Free Flu Shot Clinic 

"The single best way for families to protect against the flu is to get vaccinated each fall. Barnes-Jewish Hospital is offering free flu shots to those in our community who would otherwise not have access to one.

All vaccines are free of latex and preservatives. 

Free seasonal flu shots are available at the following locations (see link below) for those ages 6-months and older, unless otherwise noted. No pre-registration is required. All doses will be administered on a first come, first served basis while supplies last.

The Barnes-Jewish Hospital free flu shot clinics are made possible by funding from The Foundation for Barnes-Jewish Hospital.

Fundraiser at West End Grill & Pub to finance Gaslight Square District Security Initiative

October 7th from 6:00-9:00PM, 354 N. Boyle, (314) 531-4607
 

This fundraiser will benefit the security initiative for Gaslight Square District. Food/wine/beer donated by WEGAP. There is a $20 suggested donation and the event will feature an auction and raffle. 

Schlafly Public Library Events

Step for Fitness will meet every Tuesday during the month of July.  The class starts at 6 PM and goes until 8 PM, with more advanced moves starting at 7.  Don’t miss this interactive, exhilarating Schlafly classic!

Get Connected will be at Schlafly on Thursday morning from 10 AM to 12 PM.  Technology staff members will be on hand to help you figure out how to download material from the St. Louis Public Library website with one-on-one assistance.
